Sporticks is an independently operated football information and community platform. It is not currently a registered corporate entity.

Depending on the features you use, Sporticks may process:

·Voting and prediction selections

·Watch Match / watchlist preferences

·Future community and game activity

·Basic technical and security information such as logs, browser/device information and IP data, where supplied by hosting and security infrastructure

Your username and avatar may be publicly visible across Sporticks community features such as voting, leaderboards and predictions.

Your email address is private and is never displayed publicly.

Future public leaderboard, prediction or community activity may be associated with your public username and avatar.

We use information to:

·Create and manage accounts

·Authenticate users

·Provide personalised Sporticks features

·Save votes, predictions and preferences

·Display community features

·Maintain security and prevent abuse

·Operate and improve the service

·Comply with legal obligations where necessary

Where data-protection law applies, we rely on the following bases:

·Contract / steps requested by you: creating and providing your account and the service functionality you ask for.

·Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, service reliability and reasonable product improvement.

·Consent: only where specifically required, such as any future optional marketing or non-essential cookies. Consent is not the basis for all processing.

Sporticks uses service providers necessary to operate the website.

Sporticks is built and hosted on the Base44 platform, which acts as a service provider / data processor for the application data described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

Technology and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where legally required, appropriate protections are used.

We have not specified a particular transfer mechanism here because it has not been verified for this version.

Account and profile data is normally retained while your account remains active and as necessary to provide Sporticks.

When an account is deleted, personal information is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible, subject to security backups and legal obligations.

Security and technical records may be kept for a limited period where necessary for security, troubleshooting and legal compliance.

We do not promise instantaneous deletion from every backup unless that is technically guaranteed.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect accounts and data.

Sporticks is not "100% secure" and no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Sporticks accounts and community features are intended for users aged 13 or over.

If we learn that information belonging to a child below the permitted age has been collected improperly, users or parents may contact info.sporticks@gmail.com.

Sporticks uses browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) for the purposes below. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing tracking cookies, and no third party receives any of this data.

Essential / strictly necessary:

·Authentication storage — keeps you signed in across page loads. Required for the service to function; removing it signs you out.

Preferences (created only when you use the feature):

·Favourite teams and competitions — saved when you choose teams or competitions to follow. Stored on your device and, when you have an account, on your profile.

·Feed filters — remember which competitions and event types you select for the live feed. The site works with default filters without this storage.

·Watchlist (pinned fixtures) — remembers matches you pin for quick access.

First-party analytics (created on visit):

·Anonymous session ID — a random label in sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab. Used to group page visits for our own traffic counting. Contains no personal data.

·Returning-visitor flag — a single "seen before" flag in localStorage, set on your first visit. Used to distinguish new and returning visitors in our own analytics. Contains no personal data and is not a unique identifier.

Fraud prevention (created only when you vote):

·Anonymous voter ID — a random browser label created only when you cast a vote in a community poll, to prevent one browser voting multiple times. It is not created for visitors who only view polls. Authenticated users are identified by their account, not this label.

The only storage created automatically on visit is first-party, session-only analytics and a single new-visitor flag. All preference and voting storage is created only by your deliberate action. On that basis Sporticks does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. If non-essential tracking or cross-site cookies are introduced in future, this section will be updated and appropriate consent will be sought.
